Pricing4 questions

Costs & payment

  • Diagnosis is free on most repairs. We look at the problem, tell you exactly what's wrong, and give you a flat price — before we start any work. You're never committed until you say go.

The only exception is data recovery from a physically damaged drive, which requires lab-level work. We'll let you know upfront if that applies to your situation.

  • We use flat-rate pricing so there are no surprises. Common jobs:

Virus & malware removal from $79 · PC tune-up from $59 · RAM or SSD upgrade from $49 (plus parts) · Screen replacement from $99 (plus parts) · New computer setup from $69

Hardware repairs vary depending on the part needed. We'll quote you after the free diagnosis so you know the full cost before anything is ordered.

  • We accept cash, all major credit and debit cards, and Venmo. Payment is due when you pick up your device.

  • If we can't solve the problem, you don't pay. Simple as that. We'd rather be honest with you than charge for work that didn't help.

Turnaround3 questions

How long will it take?

  • Most common repairs are done same day — virus removal, tune-ups, RAM upgrades, SSD swaps, and new computer setups usually take a few hours.

Hardware repairs like screen replacements or motherboard work may take 1–2 business days depending on parts availability. Data recovery from a failed drive can take 2–5 days.

  • No appointment needed.

  • Yes. We'll call or text you as soon as your repair is complete. If we run into anything unexpected during the job — a part that needs ordering, or a second issue we found — we'll contact you before proceeding.

Services4 questions

What we fix

  • Yes — desktops, laptops, and all-in-ones running Windows. We don't currently service Macs or Chromebooks, but we're happy to point you in the right direction if that's what you have.

  • Often, yes. If the hard drive itself is intact, we can usually pull your files even if the computer won't boot. We'll connect the drive to our diagnostic equipment and attempt recovery before quoting you on a full repair.

Bring in the whole computer — don't try to remove the drive yourself first. Improper removal can make recovery harder.
  • It depends on the problem and the machine. A $59 tune-up can make a 5-year-old computer feel significantly faster. A $300 motherboard replacement on a 10-year-old laptop probably isn't worth it.

After diagnosis, we'll give you an honest assessment — including whether we think repair makes financial sense or whether a new machine would serve you better. We won't push you toward a repair that isn't worth it.

  • We are happy to do onsite visits or simply come by and pickup your equipment with delivery when finished.

Drop-off3 questions

Bringing your computer in

  • Just the computer itself — laptop or desktop tower. You don't need to bring the monitor, keyboard, mouse, or power cable unless the issue is specific to one of those.

If your computer has a login password, write it down and bring it with you. We'll need it to run diagnostics and verify the repair.
  • If you can, yes — it's always a good habit. For most repairs (virus removal, tune-ups, upgrades) your files are not at risk. For repairs involving the hard drive or operating system, we'll discuss data safety with you before starting. We never wipe a drive without your explicit permission.
